"This is a difficult review to write, because it is impossible to compare Pieces of East's music to any other artist. They blend many styles to create what may be a new genre. Some songs tend toward the singer/songwriter end of the spectrum while others incorporate Latin, Eastern, and Standard Pop lines. The common thread is the exquisite musicianship and the extraordinary voice of Laura Giammona.
